Yes, you can take the Florida FREC-approved pre-license course online—but many students find it hard to stay motivated or retain the material without instructor guidance. That’s why we recommend our in-person or instructor-led virtual classes for better support, structure, and exam success.

You must have or complete all of the following:

  1. Must be 18 Years of age.
  2. Have a Social Security Number (You do not have to be a U.S. Citizen to have a Social Security Number).
  3. A high school diploma or equivalent (You do not need to submit documentation with your application).
  4. Complete the Florida-approved 63-Hour Pre-License Course for Sales Associates.
  5. Pass the end of course exam with a score of 70 or higher.
  6. Take the State Exam and pass with a score of 75 or higher.
